There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of
meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail animals are young again.
They play all day long with each other.
There is only one thing missing.
They are not with their special people
who loved them on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!
The nose twitches! The ears are perked up!
The eyes are staring! And this one runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you
and your special friend meet,
you take him in your arms once again and embrace.
Your face is again, and again, and again,
and you look once more into the eyes of your trusted pet.
Then you cross over the Rainbow Bridge together
never to be separated.

Laddie was our oldest daughter, Michelle dog.
They more less grew up together.
He was a great dog!
Michelle's, last wish for Laddie was for him to
make it until her High School Graduation Open House.
His Love for her was so strong, when she was a little girl he would get in between her and the drive way or the road and ever so gentle push her back toward the house.
Yes he proved that strong love one last time and
grant her last wish and was laid to rest just a few weeks after her open House.
His grave today is mark with an Angel Statue, an Collie Statue and a HeadStone that reads:
LADDIE
1984 - 1998
He is greatly missed, but we still have our memories of him.
